Working together
1. Agreement to Terms
By using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
TradeBlitz is a trading name of PR0DUCT1VE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14910637), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, VAT number 441 8335 02. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean PR0DUCT1VE LTD trading as TradeBlitz. This is the company you are contracting with.
2. Services
We design, build, host and optimise websites for trades businesses. Every website we build is made to convert Google Ads traffic into leads. We also offer a build-out into a dedicated page for every service and town you advertise (Grow), Google Ads management (Fast Start), and ongoing content (Authority) as add-ons. What you get is listed on our site and confirmed in writing before we start.
2.1 Momentum (£100/month)
A dedicated one-page website built for your trade, plus hosting, copywriting, and ongoing optimisation. Billed monthly in advance. While you pay, you can use the website and included features. If you cancel or stop paying, the website goes offline. The website's code, templates and setup are our property and cannot be exported or moved to another platform.
2.2 Grow (£500 one-off build, then back to the standard £100/month)
An optional one-off build-out that expands your website into a dedicated page for each service you offer and town you cover, up to a total of 50 pages, so your Google Ads can send people to a page about the exact job they searched for. You must hold an active Momentum subscription to use Grow. The £500 is a one-off build fee, charged before the build starts and non-refundable once the work is delivered. After the build you continue on your standard £100/month Momentum subscription (hosting and ongoing tweaks); there is no separate monthly Grow fee.
- The one-off build covers writing and building the extra pages across your services and service areas, set up for your ad campaigns to land on.
- The build covers up to 50 pages in total across your services and service areas. If you ever need more than that, we will quote the extra build separately.
- After the build, your monthly is the standard £100 Momentum subscription (hosting and ongoing tweaks). There is no separate monthly Grow charge.
- We build the website out as described. We do not guarantee any specific volume of traffic, leads or work, since that depends on your ad budget, your market and other factors outside our control.
2.3 Fast Start (£300/month management fee, on top of Momentum, plus your ad budget)
An optional add-on. We set up, run and optimise your Google Ads campaigns, write the ad copy, supply ad images, install conversion tracking, and send a monthly report. You must hold an active Momentum subscription to use Fast Start. The £300/month fee is for that management work only; your ad spend is separate and on top. There is no setup fee. You can cancel Fast Start without cancelling Momentum.
- The management fee covers:
- Google Ads campaign setup
- Writing ad copy and producing ad images
- Installing conversion tracking on the website
- Ongoing campaign optimisation
- A monthly performance report covering spend, clicks, leads and cost per lead
- Your agreed monthly budget. Before we start, we agree a monthly ad budget with you in writing. We will not spend more than that budget, and we will not increase or move it, without your written approval. If you ask us to change the budget, the new figure applies from the point we both agree it in writing.
- How ad spend is bought and recharged. We run your campaigns from our own Google Ads account and pay Google for the clicks. We then recharge that spend to you at cost, with no markup, as a separate line on your invoice, plus VAT. If you are VAT-registered you can reclaim that VAT in full. The management fee is separate from, and on top of, your ad budget.
- Collected in advance, then reconciled. Your management fee and your agreed ad budget are collected by Direct Debit as two separate payments, each in advance and each with its own VAT invoice (they may fall on different days of the month). We run your ads against the budget you have paid. Each month we reconcile what was actually spent against what we collected: if you underspent, we credit the difference to your next budget payment; if your approved budget changed, the next payment is adjusted to match. The budget amount therefore varies from month to month, and we give you advance notice of the amount and date before each collection.
- If a payment fails. If a Direct Debit fails, is returned, or your mandate is cancelled, we may pause your campaigns immediately and keep them paused until payment is back in order. We do this to stop spend building up on a campaign that is not being funded.
- Responsibility for spend already run. You remain responsible for ad spend we have already committed on your behalf, up to your agreed budget, including where you cancel part-way through a month. Because clicks are bought in real time and cannot be returned, ad spend already run is not refundable. Any budget we have collected but not yet spent is credited to your next payment, or returned to you if you cancel.
- Credit control. We may ask for a higher-budget month to be paid in advance before we start it, may set or adjust the starting budget on a new account, and may decline or pause a budget increase we are not comfortable funding.
- We do not guarantee any specific ad performance, cost per lead or volume. Ad results depend on factors outside our control (auction prices, seasonality, your offer, your competitors).
2.4 Authority (£150/month, on top of Momentum)
An optional add-on for ongoing content. Each month we research, write and publish new content on your website: answers to the questions your customers ask before they get in touch, and in-depth resources about the work you do. Authority is only available once you have had the Grow build, because the content lives across a multi-page website; it is not available on a one-page Momentum site on its own. You must also hold an active Momentum subscription. The £150/month fee covers this ongoing content work. You can cancel Authority without cancelling Momentum.
- We publish one new piece of content a week, researched around the questions your customers actually ask and search for, agreed with you and written to build trust and answer the things that stop people picking up the phone.
- The content is published on your website and forms part of the hosted site. As with the rest of your site, if you cancel Momentum and the website goes offline, that content goes offline with it. It is our work and cannot be exported or moved to another platform.
- We do not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic, leads or work from this content. Content builds trust and answers questions over time; it is not a promise of a position on Google.
2.4 Changes and ongoing updates
While you subscribe, your £100/month includes ongoing tweaks and updates at no extra cost. This covers reasonable changes to your existing pages (text, images, contact details, offers and layout) and adding new standard pages (such as extra service, location or information pages) as your business grows, built on our existing templates. Fair use applies: it covers the normal upkeep and growth of a standard content website, up to a total of 50 pages. It does not cover the separate projects listed in 2.5.
Fair use means changes that are reasonable in size and number, which we carry out in turn within a reasonable timeframe. It does not include a full redesign, rebrand or rebuild of your website, a change of platform, or work that effectively amounts to a new website. Those are separate projects we will quote first, and we can decline or quote for anything that goes beyond normal upkeep.
2.5 What's not included (separate projects)
Your subscription and the Grow build cover a standard content website: pages that inform visitors and capture leads, including the conversion tools suited to your trade (such as quote and savings calculators, multi-step lead qualifiers, before-and-after sliders and booking-request forms). The following go beyond that and are not included. If you want any of them, we quote and build them as a separate project, and we will always confirm the cost in writing before starting:
- Customer logins, accounts or portals
- A CRM or any system for managing customers, jobs or pipelines
- Dashboards or live monitoring (for example a live system or performance dashboard)
- Taking payments, deposits or online checkout (e-commerce)
- Connecting your website to outside software or platforms (for example a CRM, a third-party booking or scheduling calendar, a design or proposal tool, or live chat)
- Automations or workflows: wiring up tools so things happen automatically (for example lead routing, automated follow-ups, email or text sequences, chatbots, or Zapier or Make-style integrations between apps)
- Ongoing content: regularly researching, writing and publishing new FAQs, resources or articles to your website over time. That is our Authority add-on (see 2.4), and is not part of Momentum or the Grow build
- Ongoing SEO or search-ranking work (we are an ads-led service and do not sell SEO)
- Producing photography, video or other media (you supply your own images and content)
- A second website, or a website for a different business (each subscription covers one website for one business)
- Any other bespoke software or custom-built functionality beyond a standard content website and our standard conversion tools
This list gives examples, it is not exhaustive. If something you want is not clearly part of your plan, treat it as not included until we have confirmed it in writing.
2.6 Hosting
We host your website while your subscription is active. You can use your own domain name and it stays yours. If you cancel, the website cannot be moved or exported. We aim to keep your website online and to make changes within a reasonable time during normal working hours, but we do not offer a guaranteed response time or uptime, and short periods of downtime can happen for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
2.7 Domain and SSL
We help connect your domain and set up SSL (the padlock). You pay for your domain. SSL is included while you subscribe.
2.8 Backups
We back up your website while you subscribe. We recommend you also keep copies of your content. Backups stop when your subscription ends.
2.9 Looking after your customers' data
Leads that come in through your website belong to you, not us. We just look after them on your behalf. We keep that data confidential, use proper security, only do what you tell us to with it, and give it back or delete it when this work ends. Our full data practices are in the Privacy Policy.
2.10 What we need from you
To build and run your website we rely on you. You agree to:
- Give us the content, photos, logos, details and approvals we need, and do so promptly. If you are slow to get these to us, your timeline moves back, and that delay is not a failure on our side.
- Make sure everything you give us is accurate, up to date, and yours to use, including photos, logos, reviews, prices, and any claims, certifications or accreditations.
- Not ask us to publish anything that is false, misleading, unlawful, or that breaches someone else's rights.
You are responsible for the content and claims on your website. If someone brings a claim against us because of content you supplied or asked us to publish, you agree to cover us for the reasonable costs and losses that result.
3. Payment Terms
- Displayed prices are in GBP and include VAT. Recharged ad spend carries VAT on top of the spend, which VAT-registered clients can reclaim in full (see 2.3).
- Momentum is £100 a month, billed in advance.
- Grow is a £500 one-off build fee. After the build you remain on the standard £100 a month Momentum subscription, with no separate monthly Grow charge. The one-off is charged before the build and is non-refundable once delivered.
- Fast Start is a £300 a month management fee on top of Momentum, billed in advance, for campaign management only. Your agreed ad budget is collected separately, also in advance, and the two may fall on different days. No setup fee.
- A VAT invoice is issued for every payment.
- Your ad spend is bought through our own Google Ads account, which we fund, then recharged to you at cost with no markup, plus VAT (VAT-registered clients can reclaim that VAT in full). We only spend up to the budget you have agreed in writing, and you remain responsible for spend already run on your behalf (see 2.3). The management fee is separate from, and on top of, your ad budget.
- Extra work outside your plan (see 2.5) is quoted separately before we start.
- Any third-party costs are paid by you (your domain, and any paid apps, plugins, stock media or outside subscriptions you ask us to use).
3.1 How you pay (Direct Debit)
Payment is by Direct Debit, collected through GoCardless, our Direct Debit provider. When you sign up you set up a Direct Debit mandate that authorises us to collect your monthly fee, and any agreed ad budget, automatically. GoCardless handles your bank details securely; we do not store them.
- Your payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
- Your fee and your ad budget are collected as separate payments and may fall on different days of the month. The ad-budget amount can vary from month to month with your agreed budget (see 2.3).
- We will give you advance notice of the amount and date before each collection, in line with the Direct Debit Guarantee.
- If a payment fails, GoCardless may automatically retry it. A failed or missed payment may pause your service, including your ad campaigns (see 2.3), until it is resolved, and you remain responsible for any ad spend already incurred.
3.2 Refunds
Our fees pay for work, and for keeping your website live and supported. Because of that:
- Monthly fees that have already been collected are not refunded, including the month in which you cancel.
- Ad spend already run through Google cannot be returned and is not refundable. Any ad budget we have collected in advance but not yet spent is credited to your next payment, or returned to you when you cancel.
- The Grow build fee is non-refundable once the build has been delivered.
- We do not give refunds for a change of mind, or because you have decided to stop using the service.
- If we have clearly failed to provide what your plan includes, and cannot put it right, we will agree a fair resolution with you.
4. What's yours, what's ours
While you pay, you can use the site. If you cancel, access ends.
Yours: the words, photos and logos you give us, plus the contact details and leads that come in through your forms. Ask and we will send these over in a simple file.
Ours: the design, the code, the templates and the build behind your website. These do not transfer, not for free and not for a fee.
We also keep the right to:
- Use any pre-existing tools or materials we brought into the project
- Use any unused ideas or concepts that did not make it into your website
- Show the finished work in our portfolio
5. Cancellation
No long-term contracts. You can cancel any time. Key points:
- To cancel, let us know through the form on this website, or cancel the Direct Debit with your bank. We will confirm in writing.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. The current month is not refunded.
- You can cancel Grow, Fast Start or Authority without cancelling Momentum. Cancelling Momentum will also end them, since they rely on the website we host.
- On cancellation of Momentum, your website goes offline. Your domain (which has always been yours) stays with you, and we can return your provided content and form submissions if you ask.
- We do not transfer the website's code, templates or build files. They remain our property.
- If we end the service, you only pay for work delivered up to that date.
5.1 What happens to the website if you leave
While you pay, the website is live and yours to use. If you cancel, the website comes offline. The build stays with us and cannot be moved, exported or handed to another provider. Your domain is yours, always, and you can point it wherever you want.
- The site files, templates and code do not transfer. Not for free, not for a fee.
- We can send back your words, photos and form leads if you ask.
- We do not sell or hand over the site or its code.
5.2 If we end the service
We may pause or end your service, giving you reasonable notice where we can, if:
- A payment is missed and stays unpaid after we have asked you to put it right.
- You are abusive towards our team, or keep demanding work outside your plan after we have explained the scope.
- You ask us to publish content that is false, misleading, unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Carrying on would put us in breach of the law.
If we end the service, the same things happen as when you cancel: your website goes offline, your domain stays yours, and we can return your provided content and form leads if you ask.
6. Lead Growth Guarantee
Important: This guarantee covers how well your website turns visitors into leads. It does not cover how many visitors you get or how much your ads cost. You need to be sending traffic to the website (through ads, social, your van, your business cards, anything) for the guarantee to count.
If your leads have not improved within 90 days of launch, we keep tweaking your website at no extra cost, for up to a further 90 days, until they do. The remedy under this guarantee is that extra work on your website, not a refund, discount or payout. Conditions:
- You play your part:
- Give us access to your analytics and any ad accounts pointing at the website
- Keep marketing your business about as much as you were before
- Action our recommended changes within a reasonable time
- Reply and give feedback quickly
- What counts as improvement:
- The percentage of visitors who get in touch goes up compared to the starting point, measured over at least 14 days
- The starting point is set at launch, or in the first full 14 days after launch with proper traffic
- What "at no extra cost" means:
- Tweaks to the website, the form, the copy, the layout, and testing different versions to see which works better
- It does not include ad spend, ad management beyond what your Fast Start plan covers, extra page build-outs beyond what your Grow plan covers, or anything outside the website itself
- When the guarantee does not apply:
- Your business pauses, changes what you offer, or starts targeting a different customer
- You do not action our recommended changes
- Traffic to the website drops sharply (we cannot improve a website no one visits)
- Outside factors like market changes, time of year, or new competitors
- The guarantee is about how well your website turns the visitors you send it into leads. It does not cover Google ad-account performance, cost per click, cost per lead, or any specific number of leads, customers or revenue.
- We'll agree what counts as a "lead" with you based on your trade and what is normal for your business.
7. If something goes wrong
If we mess up and you lose money because of it, the most we can ever owe you is what you have paid us for the service. We are not on the hook for indirect or knock-on losses, like lost profits, missed jobs, or money spent fixing something with another supplier.
8. Complaints
If something is not right, tell us first and give us a fair chance to fix it. Raise it through the form on this website and explain what is wrong. We will look into it and come back to you within a reasonable time, and we will work with you to put it right where we can. Please raise a complaint with us, and let us try to resolve it, before starting a payment dispute or chargeback.
9. The agreement between us
These terms, together with the plan you choose and the scope we confirm to you in writing, are the whole agreement between us. They replace anything said or sent beforehand.
- What we build and include is only what is set out in your plan and in the scope we confirm in writing. Briefs, wishlists, emails, calls, mock-ups or examples you send us are useful background, but they do not form part of this agreement or add to the scope unless we have confirmed them in writing.
- If you want something that is not in that written scope, it is treated as outside your plan (see 2.5), and we will quote it before doing any work.
- Any change to these terms, or to your scope, only counts once we have put it in writing.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
