For plumbers, sparks, roofers and the rest

Websites for tradesmen, built to make the phone ring.

Most tradesman websites are sold on how they look and a promise about Google. Ours is sold on one job: turning the people who find you into calls. We build it and look after it, and if you want the work coming in faster, we run your Google Ads as well. Every lead lands with you, and nobody else is sold the same job.

  • £100 a month inc VAT
  • No setup fee
  • No contract
  • Most live within 3 days

What you get

One website with one job to do.

Everyone starts on Momentum. It is a one-page website, and that is on purpose: a customer looking for a plumber at nine at night wants to see what you do, where you work, proof you are good at it and a button to ring you. Anything else on the screen is somewhere for them to wander off.

Momentum, £100 a month

The website. Everyone has this.

  • A one-page website built to win work
  • Made to turn visitors into phone calls
  • Words written to win the job
  • Your best work shown off
  • Quick to load on a phone
  • Leads sent straight to you
  • Tweaks and updates every month

Fast Start, £300 a month on top

The ads, and the pages they land on. Optional.

  • A page for every service and area you advertise
  • Ad copy written, images made
  • Call and lead tracking installed
  • Run and tuned around the clock

Your ad budget is separate and goes straight to Google on your own card. You set it, and we agree it with you before we start. We run Fast Start on a minimum budget of £500 a month.

What it costs

Every pound, and who it goes to.

Some web designers for trades quote before VAT, and an agency fee for ads never tells you what the clicks cost on top. So here is the whole month, both ways, with VAT in and the money split by who actually receives it.

  • All prices include VAT. No setup fee, no build fee, no contract and no minimum term.
  • Filling in the form costs nothing. You pay once we have agreed to take you on and you have set up the Direct Debit.
  • The one other bill is your domain name, which you pay for and keep.

How fast it goes live

Live in days, ads when you're ready.

01

You tell us about the business

Four details at the pricing section, then a short brief: what you do, where you work, what makes you worth ringing. Nothing to pay at this point. We check it is a fit, then send the Direct Debit link.

02

We build it and you sign it off

We write every word and lay it out to get you called. You send real photos of your work. Most websites go live within 3 days, and nothing goes live without your yes.

03

The ads, when you want them

Add Fast Start once the website is live. Your own Google Ads account, opened in your name, and we set up and run the campaigns for £300 a month. Nobody can honestly promise you a number of leads by a date, so we will not.

Who owns what

Who owns what, in plain words.

Plenty of tradesman websites are sold as "yours to keep". Ask what that covers before you sign, and ask us too. Here is our answer, item by item, straight from our terms.

Who owns each part of a TradeBlitz website, and what happens to it if you leave
WhatWho owns itIf you leave
Your leads and customersYouEvery customer you won stays yours. Ask and we send back your form leads.
Your domain nameYou, and you pay for itStays yours. Point it wherever you like.
Your Google Ads account (Fast Start)You: your name, your cardStays with you, campaigns and history included. We remove our access.
The website buildUsComes offline at the end of the month. It cannot be moved or exported.

That last row is why you will never hear us say the website is yours. You are paying for a website that is live and winning you work while you pay, and everything it wins stays with you when you stop. On who decides what goes on it, we set out the split in leave it to us.

About Google

We don't sell page one of Google.

Read the websites that sell to tradesmen and nearly all of them bundle in local SEO and a line about ranking. Google's own guidance for anyone hiring help with search says this:

"No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google."

So we leave it out. The spot at the top of the screen when someone searches your trade in your town is an ad, it has a price per click you can see before you spend a penny, and Fast Start buys it from your own account. There is more on how that works in Google Ads for tradesmen.

The trades we build for

Trades only, and nothing else.

We don't build for restaurants, salons or yoga studios. Every website we make is for a trade, and the ones we see most are plumbers, electricians, roofers, heating engineers, landscapers and builders. Each gets written around how its own customers search: a boiler that has packed in at seven in the morning is a different call from an extension somebody has been planning for a year.

Here is what one click costs in each of those trades, and how many people search for it every month. It is the best argument for getting the website right before you buy a single ad: at £8.00 a click for a plumber, every visitor who leaves without ringing is money already spent.

Electricians"electrician near me"74,000£6.90

Your trade on its own

Each of these goes into what a website for that one trade has to show, and what its customers check before they ring.

Website or lead site

Renting leads, or having your own coming in.

The other way to get work online is to pay a lead site, and you will win the odd job off one. The catch is how the lead gets sold. The same job can go to several trades at once, so you pay for the privilege of quoting against them on price, and the day you stop paying is the day that work stops.

We don't sell leads. We build the website, run the ads if you want them, and the calls come to your phone and nobody else's. If you are weighing the two up, these will help:

Real results

Three trades whose old websites sat quiet.

Each of these had a website already. None of them was bringing in much. Here is what came back after we rebuilt it.

Electrician - Birmingham

12 to 29 leads a month

Tom's old site barely turned a visitor into a call, just 12 leads a month. We rebuilt it around one clear offer and made it easy to ring him. Sixty days later, 29.

Heating Engineer - Bristol

Booked out 6 weeks in 45 days

Gary's old site looked alright but brought in next to nothing. We rebuilt it around what his customers want, with reviews up front. Booked out six weeks in 45 days.

Plumber - Coventry

1 call a week to 13

Mick had 1,400 local followers and an old Wix site that hadn't landed a job in months. We rebuilt it around one clear offer. His calls went from 1 a week to 13.

If it doesn't work

If your leads haven't improved within 90 days of launch, we keep working on the website at no extra cost for up to another 90 days. It covers how well the website turns visitors into leads, not how many visitors you send it or what your ads cost.

Straight answers

What tradesmen ask before they sign up.

How much does a website for a tradesman cost with you?
£100 a month, including VAT, for the website, the hosting and the monthly changes. There is no setup fee and no build fee. If you want us to run your Google Ads as well, that is £300 a month on top, plus your ad budget, which you pay to Google yourself and which starts at £500 a month. The only other bill is your domain name, which you pay for and keep.
How long until my website is live?
Most of the websites we build go live within 3 days of us having your details and photos. Ads come after that, once the website is live and your own Google Ads account is open, because there is no point paying for clicks that land on a website that is not ready.
Do I own the website?
You own your leads, your customers and your domain name, and on Fast Start you own the Google Ads account too. The website build stays with us: while you pay, it is live and working for you, and if you cancel it comes offline and cannot be moved elsewhere. We would rather tell you that now than have you find it in the small print.
Will it get me to the top of Google?
Not on its own, and we do not sell SEO. Google itself says nobody can guarantee a #1 ranking. What you can buy is the ad slot at the top of the results, at a price per click you can see before you spend anything. That is what Fast Start does, from your own Google Ads account.
Is there a contract?
No. It is a monthly Direct Debit with no minimum term. You can cancel through the form on our website or with your bank, and it ends at the close of that billing month.
What do I need to give you?
A few details at the pricing section, then a short brief about your business: what you do, where you work and what makes you the one to ring. Send us real photos of your jobs and your van. We write the words, and you give the final yes before it goes live.
I already have a website. Is it worth replacing?
Only if it is not getting you calls. All three results on this page came from rebuilding a website that was already there but not bringing in work. If yours is doing the job, keep it.
