For domestic, tenancy and commercial cleaners
A cleaning website that fills the week with regular clients.
Cleaning runs on regulars. On Checkatrade's averages a weekly clean is £75, which is £3,900 a year from one client, and that client starts as a stranger reading your website and deciding whether to hand you a key.
We build the website, write every word on it, and if you want the diary filling faster we run your Google Ads as well, from your own account. Every lead comes to your phone and nobody else's.
- £100 a month inc VAT
- No setup fee
- No contract
- Most live within 3 days
Who books a cleaner
Three customers, three different reasons to ring.
A cleaning company website gets three kinds of visitor, and each is checking for something different before they get in touch. Mix them up and the tenant ends up reading about fortnightly slots while the office manager can't find a word about contracts.
The weekly or fortnightly client
They're leaving you alone in their home, often for years. They want to know who'll turn up, whether it's the same person every time, and that you're checked and covered. Win one at £75 a week and it's £3,900 over a year.
The tenant moving out
They're buying their deposit back. The Deposit Protection Service says cleaning was the top reason for deposit claims in 2025, at 29.37% of claims, for the fifth year running. They need a date, a price for their size of home (£180 to £415 on Checkatrade's figures) and proof the agent won't find anything.
The office or block manager
They're buying a contract, usually when the current one comes up for review. Searches for commercial cleaning hit 6,600 in September and sink to 1,900 over the summer. Before they sign they'll want your insurance and your safety paperwork.
What the website has to show
What a customer checks before handing over keys.
There's no general UK licence for cleaners, so a customer has nothing official to look you up on. Your website does that job instead. The national cleaning firms know it: their pages say who comes, that it's the same cleaner each visit, what checks were done and what happens to the keys. A one-person cleaning business can show all of that too, with a real name and face on it.
If you would rather customers booked themselves in than rang, we can add a booking tool: the customer chooses the service, a date and a time slot, and you get the booking. It is your call, and you can try it on our conversion tools page.
Who turns up, by name
A photo and a first name, and a plain line saying the same cleaner comes every visit if that is how you work. It answers the question a regular client is too polite to ask on the phone.
Your DBS check, near the top
Anyone working in England and Wales can get a basic DBS check through gov.uk, and it usually takes up to 3 days to process. Once you have it, say so where a nervous customer looks first.
Insurance, said plainly
Public liability cover is your choice rather than a legal duty, so holding it is worth saying. Take anyone on and employers' liability becomes a legal must, for at least £5 million. Name what you hold.
What happens to the keys
Say how you look after keys and that the customer signs for them. National agencies hand over a signed key form, and a sole trader can do exactly the same.
The end of tenancy checklist
Room by room, what the clean includes, in the words an agent uses at check-out. Then what you do if the agent or landlord flags something. A tenant chasing a deposit reads that list line by line.
COSHH and a safety policy for offices
HSE says COSHH applies to a cleaner with no staff who takes hazardous products onto somebody else's premises, and with five or more employees your health and safety policy has to be written down. Say both are ready to send, so the office manager doesn't have to chase them.
What you get
One website, then a page for every service.
Momentum is £100 a month: a one-page website that puts your cleaning business, your area, your checks and your booking in front of the customer on one screen. For a cleaner doing one kind of work in one town, that's often all it needs to be.
If you do regular cleans, end of tenancy and offices, each one wants its own page, because the tenant and the office manager are reading for different things. Fast Start adds that: a page for every service and area you advertise, with your Google Ads sent to the page that matches the search, for £300 a month on top.
If your leads haven't picked up within 90 days of launch, we keep working on the website for up to another 90 days at no extra cost.

Your ad budget is separate and goes straight to Google on your own card. You set it, and we agree it with you before we start. We run Fast Start on a minimum budget of £500 a month.
What it costs
The full monthly bill, with VAT in.
When you price your own work by the hour, a surprise invoice stings, so here is the whole month. The website is £100 with VAT included, and there's no setup fee or build fee. Add the ads and you pay us £300 more, while your ad budget, from £500 a month, goes to Google on your own card.
Your domain name is the only other thing you pay for, and it stays in your name.
| What you have | Paid to us | Paid to Google | Your month |
|---|---|---|---|
| The website (Momentum) | £100 | Nothing | £100 |
| The website and the ads (Momentum + Fast Start) | £400 | From £500, on your own card | From £900 |
All prices include VAT.
What a click costs
Contract work costs the most per click.
Commercial searches are the dearest in cleaning: "commercial cleaning" runs at £7.24 a click, against £3.07 for "house cleaning". That's what one visit to your website costs, booked or not, so a website that loses the visitor has spent the money before you've quoted.
It's also why the regular client matters. A £3.07 click that turns into a weekly slot is worth £3,900 over a year. Our cleaning leads guide works through what a lead is worth by the type of client it brings.
| The job | What people search | One click |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial | "commercial cleaning" | £7.24 |
| End of tenancy | "end of tenancy cleaning" | £6.78 |
| Office | "office cleaning" | £6.31 |
| Deep clean | "deep cleaning service" | £4.06 |
| Finding a cleaner | "cleaning services near me" | £3.12 |
| House cleaning | "house cleaning" | £3.07 |
| Cleaners near me | "cleaners near me" | £2.76 |
Google Ads keyword data for the United Kingdom, pulled September 2026. These are advertisers' bids, so the price you actually pay for a click tends to land below them.
Who owns what
Your clients stay yours, whatever happens.
A cleaning business is its client list: the people who've given you a key and a regular slot. They're yours, along with every lead the website sends, your domain name and, on Fast Start, your Google Ads account and its history. The table comes straight from our terms.
The website build is the one part that stays with us. It's live and working while you pay, and if you cancel it comes offline at the end of that month.
| What | Who owns it | If you leave |
|---|---|---|
| Your leads and customers | You | Every customer you won stays yours. Ask and we send back your form leads. |
| Your domain name | You, and you pay for it | Stays yours. Point it wherever you like. |
| Your Google Ads account (Fast Start) | You: your name, your card | Stays with you, campaigns and history included. We remove our access. |
| The website build | Us | Comes offline at the end of the month. It cannot be moved or exported. |
About Google
The top of Google is an ad, with a price.
"No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google."
We don't sell SEO to cleaners, and Google's own guidance above is the reason: nobody can promise a cleaning firm a place in the free results.
What you can buy is the ad at the top when someone searches "end of tenancy cleaning" in your town. You see the price per click before you spend anything, and Fast Start runs it from your own account. Google Ads for tradesmen explains how that works.
Straight answers
What cleaners ask before signing.
- How much does a cleaning website cost with you?
- £100 a month with VAT included, covering the website, its hosting and changes every month. There is nothing to pay up front for the build. Want the ads as well? That is £300 a month to us on top, plus an ad budget of at least £500 a month that you pay Google directly. Your domain name is the only other cost.
- Can customers book a regular clean on the website?
- They can if you want them to. Ask and we add a booking tool, where the customer picks the service, a date and a time slot, and a tenant can book an end of tenancy clean for their moving-out date the same way. If you would rather talk to every customer first, leave it off and they ring or message you instead.
- Should I put my DBS check on the website?
- Yes, if you have one. There is no general UK licence for cleaners, so a basic DBS check is one of the few things a customer recognises at a glance. You apply through gov.uk if you work in England or Wales, and it usually takes up to 3 days to process.
- Will the website put my cleaning business at the top of Google?
- Not by itself, and we don't sell SEO. Google says nobody can guarantee a #1 spot. Fast Start puts you in the ads above the results instead, from your own Google Ads account, and you can check the price per click before you spend a penny.
- I clean homes, end of tenancy and offices. Can one website cover all three?
- Yes. Momentum is one page, so it leads with the work you want most and lists the rest. If you advertise all three, Fast Start gives each its own page, so the tenant lands on your deposit checklist and the office manager lands on your contract terms.
- Is there a contract?
- No. You pay by monthly Direct Debit with no minimum term, cancel through the form on our website or with your bank, and it ends at the close of that billing month.
- Do I own the website?
- You keep what it wins: your leads, your customers and your domain name, and on Fast Start the Google Ads account as well. The website build stays with us. It is live while you pay, and if you cancel it comes offline and cannot be moved elsewhere.
